IntroductionWelcome to the Staffordshire Business Support Guide produced by the Business Innovation Centre. This is a guide - not a directory which gives you a brief description and direct access to the organisations and initiatives that may be able to help you grow your business. This guide was originally designed to help companies in North Staffordshire and this is reflected in the content but is gradually being extended to cover the rest of the county as we are made aware of other schemes. The first section of the guide gives information on the Business Support organisations in the region and the second section gives information about various grants, loans and subsidised schemes to help your business. The other sections are self explanatory but hopefully useful to you. The information in the guide is checked on an annual basis as a matter of course in April but it is updated as and when we hear of changes to the schemes. The Business Innovation Centre updates this information by relying in good faith on the information provided by the contributing schemes.
